There's something special about the early train ride on a cool Saturday morning, especially when it’s leading you to the unknown. That's where I found myself, en route to Les Roches Blanches Hotel. The name alone promised something extraordinary. I was about to delve into a holistic experience meticulously orchestrated.

Every month, in collaboration with Irène Olczak, as a holistic curator, Les Roches Blanches Hotel initiates a 24h-retreat journey tied to natural elements: rock, sea, wind, and fire. The vibrant entrepreneur, founder of PAUL.E magazine and Eso Paris agency, gathers around her a true ecosystem of talents and practitioners, all driven by a common intent: to lend their physical and energetic contributions to a world relearning to tune into its body and inner self. On the agenda, tailor-made practices and rituals to reconnect body, heart, and mind: kundalini, breathwork, ecstatic dance, ice bath, sound bath, meditation, Ayurveda, human design, lithotherapy, astrology, tarology, shamanic journey...

Upon arrival, it felt like stepping into a different dimension. There was a magnetic pull inviting me to shed the city skin and dive into something deeper. Les Roches Blanches isn't your everyday hotel; it's a slice of time and space carved out just to let you breathe. Nestled between the calm Mediterranean waves and the rugged embrace of Cap Canaille, this luxury refuge sits atop a sedimentary rock, each stratum narrating its history, embodying energies. It's no coincidence that this venue hosts a unique high-vibrational holistic experience.

My journey began with a breathwork session led by Bibo By Nana. Atop the renowned white rock, the setting was breathtaking, both literally and metaphorically. The ebb and flow of waves mirrored our collective breaths, plunging us into a meditative and mindful state. The session was transformative and emotionally stirring.

We had intimate moments to retreat to the magical spots around the hotel to process the session, write, and meditate. Every participant had the liberty to embrace the moment in their own way.

We then enjoyed an Ayurvedic feast prepared by Chef Simon Duval. It was more than just a meal; it was nourishment for both body and soul - a perfect blend of vibrant colors and textures.

I then experienced a “D’Ose” session orchestrated by La Magicienne Dose. It was an invitation to free the mind and let energies flow unabashedly. More than a mere wellness exercise, it was a transformative journey.

The day beautifully concluded to the sound of crystal bowls officiated by the radiant Clémence Genati, through a gong bath that transported us into a vortex, imprinting these newfound energies into my cells.

After such a day, I retreated to my room in the sublime Villa Cala Bianca, which was simply magical. The room offered a panoramic view of the sea, showcasing the vast Mediterranean expanse. The bathroom was an experience in itself, resembling a luxurious yacht with glass panels offering an uninterrupted view of the sea. And then the morning sun brought with it a calmness, a readiness to embrace the routine yet with a renewed spirit.

If there’s one thing I took away from this whirlwind 24-hour holistic retreat, it’s gratitude. Gratitude for the moments that took my breath away, for the connections I made, and for the renewed sense of purpose I returned with.

If this piques your curiosity, and you wish to delve into this experience, reach out to Les Roches Blanches. They host these retreats in cozy groups of 13, making the journey as personal as it gets.
